The well bred Chapter Seven colt Peace Keeper will make his second lifetime start, and first at Kawartha Downs, on Saturday night in the evening’s first race.

Trainer Per Henriksen, known for his ability with trotters, will be up behind the colt who has post two. Peace Keeper was fifth in his career debut at Georgian last week. Owned by Richard Gutnick, T L P Stable, Joseph Lozito and Deo Violent Farms, Peace Keeper was an $100,000 yearling at the Lexington Sale two years ago.

He is the first foal from the Kadabra mare Noble Peace Prize whose dam is one of the best trotters ever bred in Ontario, the incredible Peaceful Way. A daughter of Angus Hall, Peaceful Way earned $3.2 million during her impressive career which earned her induction in the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame in 2008.
