When Kawartha Downs’ opens their doors for live racing on Saturday, May 28, race fans will have the opportunity to meet mystery writer Barry P. Hall who selected a Peterborough racetrack as the setting for his novel Ghost From The Holocaust.

The murder mystery is set at Morrow Park, the home of harness racing in the Peterborough area before the move to Kawartha Downs. Mr. Hall will be on hand to meet and greet race fans and sign copies of his book which will be available for a discount price of $24.
