Tony Kerwood, a regular driver at Kawartha Downs for a number of years, scored a second straight win with his homebred two-year-old last night at The Raceway at Western Fair District.

With Tony at the lines, Intrigued Again went straight to the top and was a wire to wire two length winner in 1:59.4, a life best. It was the second straight win at the London, Ontario, half-mile track for the youngster who was also making just his fifth lifetime start.

A son of Big Jim, Intrigued Again is the eighth foal from Kerwood’s Artsplace mare Jade Princess. During her racing career Jade Princess only made seven lifetime starts, with Tony in the race bike for each one. She is a full sister to Royal Art, a winner of $701,000 during his career.
