Cougar Girl, a pretty daughter of American Ideal, won her third straight race on a perfect night in front of a great crowd this evening at Kawartha Downs.

With Rick Webb in the bike as usual the eight-year-old pacing mare crossed the finish line first for the third consecutive week at the Fraserville oval. The time tonight was 1:57. Winbak Your Kash finished second followed by Keystone Samurai. Carole Wood of Cobourg, Ontario owns and trains the winner

Leading driver Gord Brown also scored a hat trick with three wins on the 10 race program. His first score came with Rose Run Rebel (1:57.3) followed by What A Peach (2:00) and Pacific Wave K.
