In addition to space for meetings, special events, and parties of all sizes, Kawartha Downs has built-in entertainment.

There is harness racing Tuesdays and Saturdays year round, stock car racing in the summer, and the slots next door offer 24-hour weekend gaming - seven days a week in spring/summer.

Kawartha Downs can cater to corporate business needs, from 10 - 300 people. We can offer buffet service for up to 300 people and plated dinners up to 140 people . Menu's can be created to accomodate their needs.

PLANNING AN EVENT?
Kawartha Downs & Speedway has just completed a renovation and houses a number of areas that accommodate a variety of group sizes. 

Kawartha Downs can provide its traditional top of line roast beef carvery and buffet, or Chef Michael Pigeon can work with you to create a special menu, complete with wait staff and bar service.  It’s perfect for corporate holiday events as our lower level can accommodate up to 300 people and we will ensure all your entertainment needs are met.


RACE NIGHT OPPORTUNITIES
There are also a number of unique opportunities for companies on race nights. 

We can attribute a race to your organization and provide added exposure through our simulcast harness racing.  In addition, an executive, special guest or employee can present the trophy to the race winner for added excitement and exposure. Race sponsors receive a commemorative photo and can display and share promotional information to patrons.

Organizations or groups may also want to raise money for internal causes or charities by pooling their money on particular races to bet.  Kawartha Downs also has a satellite uplink facility - the only one available between Toronto and Ottawa. For more information, call (705) 939-6316 Ext. 201.
